I love to design quilts that provide a secondary design when the blocks are sewn together, and Garden Trellis does that! The blocks “appear” to be on point, but are not; and then when sewn together, a lattice (or trellis) effect is achieved. This template free quilt will piece together quickly if you follow my directions, and press all the seams of Block A in one directions, and all the seams of Block B in the opposite direction.

Skill level: Intermediate
Finished block size: 9″ x 9″

Directions are included to make 3 different sizes:
Lap: 20 blocks (10 of Block A, 10 of Block B) – 52″ x 61″
Full: 56 blocks (28 of Block A, 28 of Block B) – 81″ x 90″
Queen: 80 blocks (40 of Block A, 40 of Block B) – 90″ x 108″
