Calypso is a great project for an intermediate quilter! There are 3 pattern pieces that can be rotary cut along with strip piecing techniques. This quilt has been designed for using 4 different colorways with a light and dark value (as shown).

It could also look terrific using a light and dark value of just one color such as two shades of a blue plus a light color for contrast. Wouldn’t this quilt look great for Christmas in red and green? Or how about as a scrappy quilt using your stash or fat quarters?
