What DO you do with all those tiny leftover scraps (a.k.a. “crumbs”)? Be frugal and thrifty by recycling your scraps! A FUN and creative way to use the smallest amounts (at least 3/4″ on each side) of cotton scraps (strips, squares, trimmed triangles, leftover binding, funky sizes, etc.) from your stash – the ones you usually throw away because you don’t know what to do with them! Create your own fabric through crumb quilting, and then cut the squares and rectangles for each block from your crumb quilted fabric! The crumb quilted fabric uses all batiks in the quilt while the runner’s crumb quilted fabric is all Christmas fabric; and the pillow “fabric” is created from a variety of fabrics for a different look.
