Lightning Does Strike was originally going to be “Zig Zag”, but the week my son, Myk, who is my graphic designer was working on this pattern, his first house was struck by lightning. He and his wife, Marnie, had only been in their home less than two weeks, but they had to have their siding plus part of their roof replaced. This quilt pattern is template free using strip sets. Directions are given for using a directional border print (see inset photo) or for non-directional fabrics.

Molly is our beautiful golden retriever in the photo.
