I hope you are enjoying the photos of the quilts from the show in Wenatchee. Here is an overview photo of the show from the stands of the event center that Tom took to put this whole show in perspective. We really were on the ice rink. It was great to be able to hang the large quilts around the rink, too.
Today’s photos are rather interesting to me as I never know what I’ll see at a show. Are the quilts sewn at a retreat? In a class? With a group? From their own design, a pattern or a book? As I kept walking around the show I kept seeing these similar type quilts based on a book called the One Block Wonder. I don’t know who the author is but I hope you enjoy seeing how the same quilt block can be interpreted in so many ways that are different yet similar depending on fabric, and color placement. Quite fascinating.
