Spokane Quilt Show

This is Quilt Market week in Houston, and most of the people I work with are headed to Houston this weekend. It is an amazing event filled with creativity, and excitement, and of course, quilts! I have been to Houston many times but unfortunately not this year. It will be interesting to see the new fabric collections in a couple of weeks, and to hear what was “hot” at market. Meanwhile, we are “recovering” from doing two back-to-back quilt shows as vendors. The quilt show last weekend was with my home guild, Washington State Quilters – Spokane so it was nice to only drive 15 minutes to the show, and sleep in my own bed. The show is one of the largest in the Northwest with over 600 quilts and 52 vendors, and I am so proud of these quilters! Tom and I had such a fun time visiting with so many friends, too. I hope you enjoy my favorite quilts from this show during the next week. This first set of quilts are mainly what I call “art” quilts.
