April 2021 – Greetings from Spokane, WA!

As of June 15, 2021, I will have been in business as a quilt designer for 32 years; and there have been many work “chapters” or experiences in my life while raising a family of 4 with Tom! It’s been a long time since I’ve written a newsletter, and, now with a new “chapter” starting, I wanted to connect with you, my students and customers!

“The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it.” – Debbi Fields

Sew much has happened in our world, and life is not as we have known it before 2020. Since I could not travel, vend or teach in person, I leaped into the virtual world by taking a variety of classes to learn the “ins and outs” of virtual teaching through Zoom Talk about a technology learning curve??? That’s me! Here is a corner of my sewing room with a 3-camera set-up which allows you the student to have a front row seat on your computer screen to everything I’m teaching!

I taught 8 classes at the virtual Road @ Home show in January; and also, at a Mancuso DIY show so thank you to those students who were in my classes!

Drum roll, please…

I am offering my classes through my own Zoom platform!

You can take my classes from the comfort of your own home with your own sewing machine and supplies! I have 4 different types of classes: Scrappy, Piecing, Handwork and English Paper Piecing! At this time, classes for April and May are located on my website where there are 3-hour technique classes for $35 and the complimentary class pattern is emailed to you! More classes will be added for each month!
Click here for more information on my classes.
