Learn Hand Embroidery and Applique

Some people refer to hand applique as the “A” word, but Michele will teach you that hand embroidery can be FUN, and a super “take along” project! Michele will teach you how to create a raw edge fusible design that is then centered, and fused to a 20″ x 28″ cotton towel. Students will learn how to sew a buttonhole stitch using embroidery floss around each fused shape, and along the bottom of the towel. A long straight stitch is used across the rick rack to secure; and buttons are added for embellishment. * All students will need to purchase a kit for this class.
