Seasonal Mini Quilt

Skill level: Beginner (must be able to sew an accurate 1/4″ seam on a sewing machine)

For those students who like to do counted cross stitch and quilting, this is a perfect class! Michele will teach counted cross stitch first to those who need to learn this technique. After the students complete the cross stitch part; a simple border with be sewn on to complete the 11 1/2″ square quilt top; the quilt will be machine quilted in the ditch; and a binding sewn on.

Michele will teach you how to create a raw edge fusible design; and then how to either machine or hand applique. The guild can choose which month’s design they would like Michele to teach as there is one design for each month of the year (only January > June are shown here). There is another pattern that features designs for July > December.

* All students will need to purchase a kit (which includes a pattern with designs for 6 months) for this class.
