Waste Not – Want Not: An Introduction to Waste Canvas

Skill level: Advanced Beginner (will be helpful if students know how to cross stitch already)

Using waste canvas is a FUN way to sew a counted cross stitch design on a favorite shirt! Waste canvas is a water soluble stitching grid product so a counted cross stitch design can be stitched on a variety of products (towel, sweat shirt, pocket, etc.). Michele will present a short power point presentation of  projects that have been stitched using waste canvas; and a small trunk show of projects for inspiration! Michele will teach the basic stitches to students  who will be stitching a heartfelt message on a feed sack towel (which could also be used as the center of a pillow).
