More Quilts from Sequim

I hope you are enjoying these beautiful quilts from the Sequim quilt show! There are more scrappy pieced and appliqued quilts. Look for the appliqued quilt where the quilter pieced a scrappy binding to include all the fabrics from the quilt in the binding. Look for the value and depth in each quilt as you see the “play” between the light, dark and medium fabrics. There is one photo that has three great quilts in it, but the center one is the focus of course, and was the easiest to photgraph straight on. I wish I knew more about the quilts but there wasn’t a show booklet. I remember that the quilt with the barns on it had a wonderful story in making that quilt.


Here is another set of quilts that are either from the same book, pattern or class that looks like a “stack ‘n whack” technique. Notice how the colors and the setting can make such a difference! From fans to skirts!
