More Quilts from Sequim

Greetings from the Sunbonnet Sue Quilt Club in Sequim, WA (again)! I am posting more photos from this great quilt show that I hope you’ll enjoy! I know my photos don’t do these quilts justice as the workmanship is fabulous which is why some have close-up photos, also. Look at the amazing array of fabrics and colors used in these quilts! Every once in awhile you’ll see a Sunbonnet Sue doll at the bottom of a photo, too, to tie in the club’s name. There are even bouquets of fabric flowers on display!

Here is group of quilts that was possibly done in a class or at least from the same book or pattern. The flowers looked like the fabric was pieced first, cut apart and then sewn back together to make them “scrappy”. Very cool idea! Although these quilts were not hung together, it was interesting to see how similar but different they were.
