Combine counted cross stitch stitched on 14 count Aida, and quilting! Six different cross stitched ornaments can be sewn from a “planned” fabric strip sequence or from a variety of red, green or Christmas fabrics for a scrappy look. Good project for fat quarters!

* If you do not want to do the cross stitch center, and then just use a 3″ square of fabric of your choice.
* If you just bind the finished log cabin cross stitched square without adding the hanging loop, you can use them as holiday coasters.
