My Scrappy Leaves quilt pattern began with the Lap Quilt, and evolved into taking the same quilt block to create a matching Pillow, Runner and Place mats. A great beginner project for learning strip piecing and machine applique!

Or if you are a “seasoned” quilter, this is a FUN project to use your fall fabric stash or an excuse to buy more fat quarters! These projects would be good to make with a small quilt group so you could swap fabrics for an even “scrappier” look.

Skill level: Advanced Beginner
Finished quilt block size: 12″ x 12″ for the Lap Quilt and Pillow; 11″ x 11″ for the Runner and Place mat

Directions are included to make 4 projects:
Lap: 12 quilt blocks – 53″ x 67″
Pillow: 1 quilt block – 16″ x 16″
Runner: 3 quilt blocks – 18″ x 42″
Place mat: 1 quilt block – 12″ x 19″
