Some news in the quilting world:

~ Quilts, Inc. is planning their annual in-person quilt show, Quilt Festival, in Houston, TX on October 28 – 31. https://www.quilts.com/

~ Here’s a fun little read from my friend, Mel Beach, about How Ida Holdgreve’s Stitches Helped the Wright Brothers Get Off the Ground.

“Spring has spring” here in Spokane, WA earlier, and it’s time to start planting flowers instead of waiting until Memorial weekend. I definitely have a brown thumb, and my husband, Tom, is the “master gardener”. Also, we’re well into “Celebration Time” here in the Crawford home which lasts from April 18 – May 25 with 6 family birthdays, Mother’s Day, an anniversary, and sometimes Easter. I think every family has a “Celebration” time or month and can understand the joy and craziness!

AND, to celebrate my 67th birthday, my gift is to you! Every quilt pattern and book I’ve designed and written is ON SALE 20% OFF on May 14 only!! Free shipping included on orders shipped within the USA!!

As a subscriber, I value YOU, my readers, students, customers and friends very much, and would like to offer you another free pattern of mine. Please click here.

Whether it’s piecing, machine applique, counted cross stitch, hand embroidery or English paper piecing, I’ve designed a pattern, book or class for you to create a quilt that will “bloom from your heart”! Please email me if you have any questions, comments or want to chat more about quilting!!

Happy quilting! Thank you!

Piece,
Michele Crawford
